How long does the report take to return?
The report process instantly submits a Tenant Search Request to Transunion. The report is returned completed AFTER the tenant authorizes the Tenant Screening Request via an online authorization process we email them a link to. This process can take an indefinite amount of time to complete depending on the response time from the tenant/applicant.

Reports are viewable for 30 days. After 30 days you will no longer see the completed report in your report list.

My card (debit or credit) has multiple charges pending, but I only ordered one search — why is this?
If one or more of your transaction attempts was marked as Declined due to AVS (address verification) mismatch, CVV (card security code) mismatch, or credit card expiration date mismatch, the authorization code — along with the hold on the authorized funds — will remain on your card until the card-issuing bank removes the authorization. As a result, the held funds may be subtracted from your available balance, and an online statement may reflect the authorization request which might be mistaken for an actual charge. Most card-issuing banks will remove authorizations and release the funds back to you within 3–7 days.
My credit card is not going through — why is this?
Please check your billing address and/or CVV number (card security code) to make sure they are entered correctly. Click here to find your CVV number. We use AVS (address verification) so your billing address or ZIP code must match what your credit card company has on file. Please check your most recent credit card statement for the correct address, or if you have moved recently, please contact your card issuer to double-check the address they have on file.
My applicant has a couple of National Criminal Records that are close in name but don't appear to be his/hers?
Many courthouses do not use Social Security Numbers to separate out criminal records. We use the term REVIEW on the criminal records if there is a hit, but we will do all adjudication at the courthouses if needed. Please email support@tenantBackgroundSearch.com if you believe that one or more of the criminal records does not match your applicant.
